Sit 30 minutes. Bring one hotel job.
How and who for the hotel job—verified when attested.
Bring one of these
A 30-minute sit needs a fail you can name. These are on the desk this week. Advice until attested.
A pilot is a win only if all three land
01
Job submitted
A catalog slug or a named job not yet in the catalog, written in operator language.
02
Shortlist
At least two providers compared on this browser. Placement is not for sale.
03
Verified-outcome intent
Claim, evidence, caveat, and a price they would pay if Harbor one day backed it. Not a policy.
Who sits
GM / ops
The floor. A live fail.
Owner
The file. A job you would pay to finish.
Hotel tech
The stack. What an agent may touch.
Broker
Public tape. Not a listing pitch.
Asset manager
One house. A number you can shock.

Who to recruit
Target: 8–12 design partners in the first wave. ICP: independents and soft-brands, 40–250 keys. One branded box is fine if they bring a named job. US first. Hotels only. Design-partner sit after the 30-minute screen: one JTBD, 6–8 weeks.
| Seat | Why them | What they bring | Do not recruit if |
|---|---|---|---|
| GM / ops | They live the job. Harbor is written in their language. | A live fail (phantom ready, OT, night audit, review spike). Authority to shortlist a vendor. | They only want a software bake-off with no named job. |
| Owner / asset manager | They pay. They underwrite. They will say a price. | A house (keys, flag, market). A job they would pay to finish. Willingness to name a number. | They want Harbor to appraise a hotel or invent a sale price. |
| Hotel tech / digital | They own the stack and the agent question. | PMS class, channel, what an agent is allowed to touch. | They want an unlabeled “AI layer” over the night audit. |
A broker or asset manager at a REIT is a later seat — useful for the buy/sell desk, not the first JTBD pilot. Do not count them as a hotelier pilot unless they bring a named house and a job.
30-minute script
Do not screenshare a deck for the first ten minutes
Open the house’s job. Close with: “Nothing is underwritten today. The intent stays in your browser unless you export it.”
| Min | Move | What you say | What you write down |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0–3 | Seat | You have a job. Harbor publishes how, then who, then proof. Placement is not for sale. Advice, claimed, verified — we will not mix them. | Name, seat, keys, flag, PMS class. No guest names. |
| 3–8 | The fail | What broke this week that still is not done? If they speak in vendor categories, ask for the night, the desk, the guest. | The job in operator language. Map to a slug or mark “not in catalog.” |
| 8–16 | How | Open /jobs/{slug} or search. Read the how brief out loud. Ask what is wrong. | Corrections to steps, pitfalls, when-not-to-buy. |
| 16–22 | Who | Show the ranked bench. Shortlist two or three on their browser. | Who they would call. Who they would never call, and why. |
| 22–27 | Proof | Open a case. Label advice / claimed / verified. Ask what evidence they would accept. | Evidence they would inspect. Caveat they would write. |
| 27–30 | Intent | If Harbor one day backed that outcome, what would you pay? Store it on /verified-outcomes. Ask for the next house or a peer intro. | Price willingness. Pilot request on /pilots if they want a longer sit. |

Canonical capture stays harbor.signalry.ai/pilots. Replace {First name}. Do not invent a premium or a sale price.
GM / ops
30 minutes on the job that is still open
Subject: 30 minutes on the job that is still open {First name} — You have a job that is still open. Harbor is a hotels-only desk: how to finish it, then who, then proof. Placement is not for sale. I am asking for 30 minutes on one live fail — phantom ready, overtime, night audit, a review spike. We will open the brief, shortlist two names, and write what evidence you would accept. Nothing is underwritten. Guest names stay off the page. If that is useful: https://harbor.signalry.ai/pilots Know how. Then know who. Then see proof. — Harbor by Signalry https://harbor.signalry.aidocs/outreach/01-gm.md
Owner
The file, then the bench — not a teaser
Subject: The file, then the bench — not a teaser {First name} — Harbor is the hotels-only marketplace for work that must get done. Owners use it when a house needs a path, a bench, and proof — GOP, mix, vendor ROI, or a sale file a buyer can underwrite. I am asking for 30 minutes on one job you would pay to finish. We will not appraise the hotel. We will not invent a confidential price. We will write the how, shortlist who, and capture what you would pay if a result were one day backed. Request the sit: https://harbor.signalry.ai/pilots Know how. Then know who. Then see proof. — Harbor by Signalry https://harbor.signalry.aidocs/outreach/02-owner.md
Hotel tech
Resolve the job by slug. Do not invent the metric.
Subject: Resolve the job by slug. Do not invent the metric. {First name} — Harbor publishes hotel jobs as briefs an operator and an agent can both read. Software in PMS / RMS / CRS is demo-labeled — a category shape, not a partnership. Agents that auto-close a night audit fail integrity. I want 30 minutes on one stack job: a brittle PMS, scoped agent access, card tokens, or a channel fight. We will name what an agent is allowed to touch. We will not sell you a layer. https://harbor.signalry.ai/pilots · https://harbor.signalry.ai/for/tech Know how. Then know who. Then see proof. — Harbor by Signalry https://harbor.signalry.aidocs/outreach/03-tech.md
Broker
Public tape only. Harbor will not invent the consideration.
Subject: Public tape only. Harbor will not invent the consideration. {First name} — Harbor’s buy/sell desk is a public graph: cited Host and news tapes, a labeled estimate that is not an appraisal, and desks that appear on the tape. Confidential consideration stays blank. This is not a listing pitch. I am asking whether you will sit 30 minutes on how a GM or owner should read a tape before they hire a desk — and whether a Harbor job brief (sale file, data room, PIP) is useful to your buy-side or sell-side. https://harbor.signalry.ai/buy-sell · https://harbor.signalry.ai/pilots Know how. Then know who. Then see proof. — Harbor by Signalry https://harbor.signalry.aidocs/outreach/04-broker.md
Asset manager
One house. One job. A number you can shock.
Subject: One house. One job. A number you can shock. {First name} — Harbor is hotels-only. Asset managers open it for a named job — vendor ROI, owner one-pager, affiliation, or a labeled estimate you can shock ±50 bps and ±10% ADR. Public tapes are cited. We do not split a combined Host sale. We do not call the worksheet an appraisal. 30 minutes: pick a house, name the job, shortlist who, write the evidence you would accept if an outcome were one day backed. Demand signal, not a policy. https://harbor.signalry.ai/pilots · https://harbor.signalry.ai/buy-sell/estimate Know how. Then know who. Questions
What operators ask
What is a Harbor pilot?
A 30-minute sit on one live hotel job. Harbor publishes how, then who, then proof. A win is a named job, a shortlist, and a verified-outcome intent. Nothing is underwritten.
Who should sit?
A GM or ops lead, an owner, or hotel tech. Brokers and asset managers are welcome when they bring a named house and a job — not a listing pitch.
Do you store my request?
On this browser. POST /api/pilots is a stub: it echoes and keeps nothing server-side. Do not send guest names.
